Advocacy - One of our primary goals is to advocate on behalf of counties at the legislative level. Our skilled and knowledgeable staff and contractors work with state departments and regulatory agencies to support sound policy and fiscal strategies that sustain the basic government services that ensure the health and safety of all Washingtonians.

Training and Education - We offer online recorded webinars on a variety of topics to keep you apprised of current regulations and information. WSAC members have access to a certification course, designed for newly elected officials to get them up to speed fast. We host regular live virtual assemblies via Zoom to address emerging issues. And of course, our annual County Leaders Conference is the premiere event to bring everyone together for networking and learning. Legal Services - The Strategic Litigation, Advocacy, and Communication program ensures that the use of legal action is an effective tool to advance the WSAC policy agenda in coordination with legislative advocacy strategies and actions.

Information, Research, and Resources - Our goal is to provide you with useful, responsive, and time-senstive data so you can make informed decisions and respond to emerging issues. Our website contains data dashboards, legislative policy agendas, end-of-session reports, annual reports, and important links to many other areas of resources that can be your go-to when researching.

Cost Savings - WSAC has a growing list of business partners that are dedicated to partnering with counties to provide cost savings and grow public-private connections to foster relationships.
