Come join us at Semiahmoo for the 2025 WSALPHO Annual Meeting
Registration closes on May 7, 2025, at 4:30 PM.
This year’s Annual Summer Meeting will be held at the Semiahmoo Resort in Blaine WA, June 10-12. This three-day gathering will include WSALPHO committee meetings, leadership breakouts, a WSALPHO general member meeting, guest speakers from state agencies and policy leaders, showcases of local programs, networking opportunities, and more!
Prepare to engage in discussions, gain fresh perspectives, and forge strong connections with fellow public health professionals. We hope you’ll join us!
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
We encourage local health jurisdiction staff who are involved in WSALPHO committees and meetings, LHJ leadership, and other staff interested in getting more involved in WSALPHO to attend. We will have public health partners and additional guests in attendance as well.
HOTEL RESERVATION PROCEDURE
WSALPHO will arrange hotel accommodation for all attendees directly with the hotel, using the name provided on your registration form. The hotel will email attendees their room confirmations the week of May 12, 2025 (check spam box).
Reservations are available for the nights of 6/9, 6/10, and 6/11.
Attendees must communicate any changes to their reserved dates to WSALPHO.
Provide a credit card at check-in for incidentals.
No block codes: If you book directly with the hotel, you will be responsible for the full cost at the standard rate.
EVENT COST
For WSALPHO members, the following costs are covered:
Lodging (on the nights of 6/9, 6/10, and 6/11.)
Provided Meals: Lunch on Day 1, breakfast and lunch on Day 2, and breakfast on Day 3.
Costs Not Covered
Attendees are responsible for:
Travel expenses
Parking fees
Any additional meals or personal expenses.
Non-WSALPHO members and partners are responsible for:
CANCELLATION POLICY
All room cancellations after May 12, 2025, must be done through directly with the hotel.
Cancellations within 48 hours of arrival: A cancellation fee and applicable taxes will be charged by WSALPHO.
No-shows: Attendees will be billed by WSALPHO for the full reservation cost and fees.
Late arrivals (after 1:00 AM PST the day after check-in): Considered no-shows.
Changes to reservations within 48 hours of arrival that shorten the stay will incur a fee for each canceled night.
Non-Members/Partner Cancellation Policy: The above policy will apply to hotel rooms reservations prior to date of arrival. The registration fee cancellation policy is as follows: Cancel registration by May 27 (100% registration fee refund), cancel registration between May 28 - June 7 (50% registration fee refund), and cancel registration after June 7 (Registration fee non-refundable). Cancellations must be done by emailing Nia Watkins at nwatkins@wsac.org.
PARKING
Hotel parking is complimentary.
AGENDA
The agenda will be emailed and uploaded early May. Planned schedule will be starting at noon on June 10th, meeting all day on June 11th, and ending by noon on June 12th.

If you are no longer able to attend, please cancel your registration by contacting Nia Watkins at nwatkins@wsac.org. Cancel hotel reservation directly with the hotel after May 12, 2025.
