We, here in Washington, are excited to host western region county association staff for this year's meet-up! After much back-and-forth and surveying, we have decided to continue the tradition and host the meet-up at our Capitol in Olympia. Join us for engaging roundtables, fresh perspectives, and a Washington summer experience.

Wednesday, August 12

Travel to Olympia

6:00 PM – Hosted Dinner at Mercato’s Ristorante (111 Market St NE)

Thursday, August 13

7:30 AM – Optional Morning Walk (Meet in the lobby)

8:30 AM – Breakfast Available in Capitol Room at DoubleTree (415 Capitol Way N)

9:00 AM – Welcome (Logistics and Opening Remarks)

9:30 AM – Roundtable Time

We will walk to Uptown Grill for lunch, then continue on walking to the Capitol campus. Please let us know if you will need transportation.

12:00 PM – Lunch at Uptown Grill (514 Capitol Way S)

1:30 PM – Guided Capitol Tour with Jeannie Gorrell and Paul Campos

Break Time - Optional Group Shopping and Walking. We can make a stop at our office building, if desired.

6:00 PM – Dinner and Fun at Altitude 15 (225 State Ave NE)

Friday, August 14

7:30 AM – Optional Morning Walk (Meet in the lobby)

8:30 AM – Breakfast Available in Capitol Room at DoubleTree (415 Capitol Way N)

9:00 AM – Roundtable Time Continued

11:15 AM – Final remarks

11:30 AM – Walk to Optional Farmer’s Market Visit

Registration

Rate: $225

Deadline: July 31 (if you would still like to register, just email jstrozewski@wsac.org)

Log in using the meeting attendee's unique email and password if they have an online profile in the WAcounties Hub. If not, please select "Register as Guest" and enter the attendee's name and email.

Payment

Credit Card: Our payment servicer is PayPal. This is how we take credit or debit cards. You do not need to log in to pay. You may pay on PayPal as a guest at the bottom of their portal as long as you are not logged in to PayPal already.

Check: Attendees receive a confirmation email with their total due after conference registration, which can serve as their invoice. If you opted to pay by check, please remit to ATTN: WSAC, PO Box 1909, Olympia, WA 98507 within 30 days of registration. Please note the conference name and attendee name.

Cancellation Policy

30 days before event - Deadline to cancel with full refund minus $25 administration fee.

15 days before event - Deadline to cancel with 50% refund | no refunds after this date

Transfer of registration to another attendee is always free. Cancellations and transfers must be emailed to info@wsac.org to be valid.

Travel

Seattle-Tacoma International Airport - 50 miles (70-100 minutes without traffic)

We recommend landing before 2 pm to avoid the worst traffic. You can rent a car, grab a taxi or Uber, or try out our public transportation. You can ride the bus all the way down to downtown Olympia, though you will want to check the schedule. If you opt to take Amtrak, please plan to call a car, as the station is a couple of miles out of town.

Portland International Airport - 114 miles (110 minutes without traffic)
