Join us for the Community Health Workforce Training.
Join us for this spring’s WSALPHO Community Health Workforce Training in beautiful Chelan, Washington, on May 20–22. The event provides an opportunity for community health staff and leaders at LHJs across the state to come together to learn, share, and network.
With cultural humility integrated throughout the event, this training covers the following topics:

Who Should Attend
This event has been made possible by FPHS funds that focus on three specific areas of work. If your work includes any of the following topics, whether you’re a program assistant or a manager, this training is for you!
Schedule & Location
The event starts at 1:00 pm on Monday, May 20, and ends at noon on Wednesday, May 22. It will be held at Campbell’s Resort on Lake Chelan.
Travel and Event Cost
Food and lodging will be provided during the event at no cost to members of local health jurisdictions (WSALPHO members). Other expenses will need to be covered and arranged by members. Registrants who do not belong to an LHJ will be charged $400 per single ticket. Non-member tickets are not refundable after March 19, 2024. Please keep in mind space allocated for non-members and partners is limited.
Room Reservation
The standard room block is Monday night, May 20, and Tuesday night, May 21; any room upgrades will be at the expense of the guest. If you need special accommodations, contact Nia Watkins. Call Campbell’s Resort Reservation Line at 800-553-8225 or 509-682-2561 and provide Group Block Number - 781875. You must register for the event before reserving a hotel room.
Photo Release
The Washington States Association of Local Public Health Officials (WSALPHO) may take photos and videos during this event for use in its promotional materials. By virtue of registering, you grant WSALPHO full rights without compensation to use any photos, videos, or recordings containing your likeness taken during the routine course of the event by WSALPHO to be used in future educational or promotional endeavors of WSALPHO without any further notice. This permission may be revoked in writing to WSALPHO.
